Description
The story of “Lolita” from St. Petersburg in the 2000s will appeal to fans of books “My Dark Vanessa,” “The Garden of First Love,” and “Season of Poisoned Fruits.”

The main heroine, Ksusha, lives in a yellow-eyed apartment building on the outskirts of the city with her mother, who sometimes slips into alcohol dependence. Ksusha tries to find her place in school and make friends, but it doesn’t work out.

In her life appears Yura, an older man who is already married. He pulls Ksusha into a complicated relationship full of fears and addictions. Will real love arise between them, or will these feelings be only an attempt to fill the emptiness left after her father?

This story highlights the contradiction between childhood and sexuality, showing how a girl gradually becomes a woman. The book describes unconventional growing up in the 2000s, with a subtle sense of horror and tenderness.
