Beloved Dead

One of four stories created together with Clifford Martin Eddy Jr. The story saw publication in 1924 in the magazine “Weird Tales.”
As a child, the main character was forced, by force, to go to his grandfather’s funeral. But at the funeral something shifted in the boy’s mind, and over time he began to feel an irresistible pull toward human corpses.
