Description
In the book of memoirs by Andrey Dmitrievich Sakharov—the physicist who created the Soviet hydrogen bomb (1953), an academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1953), a laureate of the Stalin Prize (1953) and the Lenin Prize (1956), a three-time Hero of Socialist Labor (1954, 1956, 1962), a public figure and dissident, one of the leaders of the human rights movement in the USSR, and a Nobel Peace Prize laureate (1975)—are included his books: "Memoirs" and "Bitter, Moscow, further everywhere", written by Andrey Dmitrievich, as well as the book "Postscript" by his wife and fellow human-rights activist Elena Bonner, telling about their life in exile in Gorky (1980–1986).

In the «Memoirs», Andrey Dmitrievich carried the narrative up to November 1983. Elena Georgievna Bonner (for Andrey Dmitrievich and friends — Люся) wrote, as it were, a postscript to the «Memoirs», in which she told about their life in Gorky in 1983–1985.
