The Blacktongue Thief

Kinch Na Shannaka, like any representative of the halts people, has a black tongue. Even as a teenager, to keep Kinch from being sent to war, he entered the School of the Guild of Grabbers—meaning thieves—where he learned the crafty arts of crime and even picked up a few magical skills. Kinch won’t be able to defeat this woman in a fight. But he will get a chance to settle accounts with the Guild by carrying out a very strange assignment.
