Description
In 1947, a robbery and murder of a bookkeeper and cashier occurred at the Kazan Research Institute; they delivered salaries to employees. The attackers were described as people in bright clothing with yellow berets. The head of the department for combating banditry, Major Vitaliy Shchelkounov, using informants, established the criminal’s nickname—Pizhon. He dealt in forged documents, and now he was committing robberies and murders, always standing out with a bright outfit. The whereabouts of the criminal remained unknown until he himself became a victim of a robber in a market. This was a unique opportunity to return to the postwar period of Soviet history and learn about real criminal cases and exciting plot twists.
