Description
A young millionaire, Prokhor Birkin, decided to acquire at an auction an interesting item—a magical lantern by Salvador Dalí—an ornament with moving pictures showing a Russian beauty riding in a sleigh-troika along a snow-covered road. The great surrealist considered this lantern his talisman and saw in the girl depicted on it the embodiment of Gala—his wife and muse of Russian origin. But the rarity was stolen right from the auction, and the crime was blamed on Lora, a student who was carrying the lots.
