What if Jane Austen were transported to our time… and fell in love?
This story tells of the legendary English writer Jane Austen, who embarked on a journey two hundred years into the future. Jane not only finds the happiness she wrote about in her books, but is also faced with a difficult choice: her creative legacy—or love?
It is 1803.
Jane Austen is twenty-eight, and her parents are rushing to get her married. Alas, the young man intended for Jane as a groom proposes to another lady. Run—run away from this city… In despair, Jane leaves her home town of Bath and heads to London.
A local witch offers Jane a dangerous bargain: love in exchange for a creative gift.
The magical spell slips off careless lips—and now we’re in the twenty-first century.
Bath, in our day.
Filming for “Northanger Abbey” is in full swing. Once, Sophia Wentworth was a star of the first magnitude; today she plays supporting roles. A chance meeting between two women from different eras triggers a chain of wild events, and the longer Jane stays in the twenty-first century, the fewer traces remain of her former life.
To save her literary legacy, Jane must return to the past as quickly as possible. The main thing—don’t fall in love with anyone.
