Everything is about to change… Everything is about to break.
After moving into her cousin’s guest house with her cousin’s husband in tiny Magdalenia, in the middle of the Arizona desert, Ross Lowry hopes to hide from financial troubles for just a little while and catch her breath.
But in this desert something is clearly wrong.
After a noisy New Year’s night in town, a chain of events begins—events that flip lives upside down. But what’s happening is only the first signs of an approaching clash with an ancient, all-consuming darkness capable of erasing the world forever. And only Ross Lowry notices what threat is coming…
