The Scales of Time

Time—everyone deals with it, yet nobody can explain what it is. However, it was a small boy, Vitus, who, running away from his pursuers, managed to master it. Even his friend Silya, with whom he’d been friends since school, didn’t believe his story. Only after several years did Silya remember the things her friend told her—and the reason was her friend’s body aging faster than his age.

A couple more years, and she would have turned into an old woman. Vitus decided to help her, but in the stopped time “holes” appeared—holes that led to irreversible consequences…
