When a person repeatedly almost drowns, goes under water—yet stubbornly surfaces in every storm and after every battle—they are given a status: unsinkable. After surviving storms and enemy attacks, they gain experience. They are cautious. They avoid reefs and shores, fearing to wreck. But sometimes they find a goal worth charging toward at full speed, without thinking, without planning. A cretin.
