Witchcrafts. Whispered words. Prophetic sayings. Renounced prayers. Love charms and break-up charms, charms and spells—everything is an echo of the great pagan past, fragments of the Primordial Faith that raised our Ancestors on a level with the Gods. No wonder the Church feared this heritage of WISE RUS as much as fire and punished its bearers mercilessly: for keeping “witchcraft notebooks,” they beat with a whip, tore out their nostrils, sent them to penal servitude; for using them, they burned them alive.
But despite all anathemas and torture, Old Russia of the people preserved the “renounced words” for more than one century—rewrote them, memorized them by heart, bewitched, divined, “volkhvaled,” spoke charms to ward off sickness and ruin, “turned” loved ones, invoked ancient Powers, called upon Earth and Heaven, “praised the native Gods the way They commanded our Ancestors.”
Having studied around 1,500 spells, this book reconstructs the most ancient Slavic rites and, using the “prophetic words,” restores the Russian pagan canon similar to Indo-Aryan worship.
“LET OUR WORDS BE STRONGER THAN STRONG STONE, STRONGER THAN HARD IRON, EVER AND FOREVER. THE HEAVEN OF OUR NATIVE GODS SHALL BE THE KEY TO OUR WORD. RUSSIAN EARTH SHALL BE ITS LOCK.”
