1355. An incense trader from Egypt disappears without a trace while traveling to the Golden Horde. His brother goes searching for him. Following the trail, he pushes deeper and deeper into the vastness of the Great Steppe until he ends up in the city of Mokhsha, lost in the deep forests right at the edge of the mysterious Land of Darkness. Together with his new friends, he will have to unravel a tangle of an ancient secret tied to the tomb of the once-powerful queen Bayalun, the wife of Khan Uzbek.
