Description
The novel begins with a real event: in 2015, the Russian FSB set a reward of 50 million dollars for assistance in the capture of criminals involved in a bombing on an aircraft in Egypt. In 2019, hoping to get the reward, an armored vehicle test driver and a translator from a border detachment assemble a team of adventurers ready to stage a daring ambush for the sponsor of the terrorist attack in order to obtain the prize. This is not an action movie about a brave special forces unit, but a novel about two intellectuals who oppose a vicious drug baron. A convoluted plot, risky adventures, criminal showdowns, a dangerous journey, two love stories, and a sad irony. Character names have been changed, and any resemblance to real living or formerly living people is coincidental.
