Description
They are called ragan—others call them a laum offspring, and sometimes simply: witches. Only they can heal wounds inflicted by creatures from the world of Navi. But people fear witches, and fire wizards hunt them like wild animals. The reason lies in a secret hidden in the past of their foremothers—the laum. Yasmyna didn’t want such a fate. Yet again and again she is forced to turn to the accursed gift—and then to flee. It went on until one day chance led her to Prirechye—a small village on the border between the living world and the Grey Thicket, which the girl has seen in dreams since childhood.

Now she must choose: run again, or step toward nightmares in search of answers? And how much time does she have left, if a green-eyed sorcerer is already on her trail?
