The Witch. Awakening

What could a simple request from a sick coworker to visit her elderly relative possibly lead to? Losing time? Getting home a couple of hours later? Not for me—no way! For me it turned into the experience of fear and, far from being a welcome introduction, a meeting with a world whose laws are fundamentally different from the familiar one. It’s teeming with strange, and for the most part dangerous, creatures—and it turns out I’m part of it, although I never suspected it. And judging by the unpleasant discovery, there’s no way back for me. I’ll have to learn how to survive in this world without humans, to seek allies—or at least those whose plans don’t include killing you or using you.
