Austria-Hungary, 1913.
Catalina Esterházy is the eldest daughter of the assistant to the governor in a small provincial town. Since childhood, she has been used to well-being and a carefree life—until one errand shatters the familiar order. By order of the mayor, her father is sent to Transylvania, and this journey becomes fateful for the entire Esterházy family.
Ancient legends that people once dismissed as mere ghost stories begin to come true. Tales of vampires awaken, bringing losses and terrifying secrets that would be better left undisturbed. Vampires, werewolves, and monster hunters step out of the shadows of fairy tales and superstitions, turning for Catalina into a new, dangerous reality.
