Environmental justice has become real. Now that people have realized their responsibility for restoring the natural balance, waste recycling has become everyday life rather than the privilege of a few. However, the irreversible point has already been passed, and a climate catastrophe threatens to destroy this fragile equilibrium. At first it acts unnoticed, leading people into a false sense of security. The novel offers a variety of perspectives—giving hope to some and causing despair in others. But the catastrophe is already here, and now we have to live in these new conditions.
