Sashka is a spoiled teenage girl who knows no refusals in anything. She lives in Kursk, and her mother and grandmother’s stories about the war and the fascist occupation leave her indifferent. Why remember something that happened so long ago? During the holidays, Sashka goes to stay with her grandmother. One day, returning from a walk, she doesn’t recognize the village: German soldiers in World War II uniforms are walking the streets, and tanks stand there. Sashka thinks she ended up on the set of a film.
