Rain in Their Hearts

Our meeting began badly. First, I almost ended up under the wheels of his car, then came chance encounters on the street and at the institute. It seemed like he was everywhere, always following me. And I had been warned—stay as far from Farid as you can. He bears the mark of a gangster’s son and is himself a criminal who barely avoided prison. So why, instead of running like everyone advises, do I want to get to know that gloomy, arrogant guy who draws me in like a magnet? And why does he look at me in a way that sends chills over my skin and melts my insides like fire?
