Three long years, Tatiana lives on a small, cut-off from civilization northern island together with her husband. For three years she tries to forget what she was once called and that she had a different face—just as she also tries to forget that, back home, she witnessed a terrible crime and only by a miracle escaped the pursuers. But did she truly escape—or were those three years just a pause before new trials? And isn’t it really for her that a strange Russian man has come to the island searching for his vanished sister?..
