Horror on the Golf Course

Late in the evening, a girl is killed with inexplicable brutality near a country club. A young man who rushes to help—after hearing her screams—claims that something attacked him in the dark, something that seemed to resemble a huge monkey in an evening suit.

During this investigation, the local doctor Troubridge meets the French forensic expert Jules de Grandin, who is at the moment in Harrisonville and offers the police his assistance.
