Anne Willis really wants to fall asleep.
Three months ago, the car driven by Anne was in an accident. The crash claimed the lives of two people, and the third was left strapped to a hospital bed. In hopes of finding peace and finally getting rid of her hated insomnia, Anne moves from London to the remote Scottish island of Ra’m, where she takes a job as the manager at a small seaside hotel. The hotel’s guests seem like nice, pleasant people, but Anne can’t shake the thought that she’s being watched. Is it just a delusion—or a real threat? Could someone truly be dreaming of revenge for the accident?
A storm is coming, and cut off from everything, the island becomes a battleground for Anne’s struggle with her own past.
