The life and work of system administrator Sergey Nikitich Kozhevnikov had never been conducive to heroism or adventures. There was no reason—nor any cause to take risks with secretly set up bitcoin farms at the workplace, for example. At least, nothing like that.
Until the server room wall finally gave way from a chance bump—and Sergey was thrown into a cold parallel world, into a stone enclosure whose only light came from a frame of a return portal far, far above.
Sergey wasn’t the first in the new world—portals appeared in abundance, but then they were immediately filled with concrete.
