But what did a man do, in whom is contained the hope of all living things and evidence of another, higher plan? Instead of fighting this “power of death,” he uttered his own “amen” to it. Thus, hell was established in the world with approval and consent from the human being—the only creature destined to oppose it—and now it is armed with all the achievements of human technology.
