Earth continues to experience the Season of Catastrophes, and new anomalous zones appear across different places on the planet.
On the near horizon there is also the appearance of the “opposition” and their Russophobic politics splits Ukraine in two. With NATO’s support, the “Svidomites” try to subdue the Left Bank by force. Eastern Malorossiya answers the occupiers with partisan warfare. A merciless “epoch of stillborn-born” approaches…
I can’t call this novel “fantastic.” It’s more than just fantasy. Gleb Bobrov, himself a former “Afghan,” knows the dark side of war firsthand. Only a veteran can write such a book—so powerful and believable, with such detailed portrayals of combat work and sabotage struggle, with such naturalism and complete immersion in the bloody nightmare of the coming.
And don’t fool yourselves. This novel isn’t about Ukraine. After Malorossiya, Russia is next. “Therefore, don’t ask for whom the bell tolls— it tolls for you.”
Previously, the book was published under the title “Epoch of Stillborn-born.”
Author’s comments:
“Friends! In front of you is the fruit of three years of reflection, one and a half years of painstaking work, and one extensive infarction. A novel about the real present and possible future...
First of all, I want to address lovers of throwing wet balderdashes and torn shirts at the chest: gentlemen! By the power given to me by God—through the ability to create—I did my part of the common work: I modeled the extreme scenario of events. These are your stilts and stepping ladders so you can look into the abyss of the coming. Now it’s your turn—make sure the described future doesn’t become real. Praemonitus, praemunitus.
