In ancient times, people believed that a person has three souls. One remains with the family after death near memorial tablets, the second goes through a cycle of reincarnations, and the third guards the grave. Some souls, however, crumble into shards.
What if shards of such souls are able to find each other even across centuries? A young graduate student, Lun An, believed in science and that everything has a logical, clear explanation. Agreeing to take part in an ambiguous experiment involving meditations, he least expected to encounter something that cannot be fitted into the framework of scientific reasoning.
His experiment partner, the young popular blogger Wang Qing, seems like a complete opposite of Lun An—but soon it turns out he is also plagued by strange visions.
