Igor Alexandrovich Maznin entered children’s literature with considerable life experience behind him. Before his first book “Kot Pushok” (“Fluffy Cat”) appeared, Igor Maznin graduated from an institute, spent several years as a school teacher, and worked as an editor for a children’s publishing house. “Kot Pushok” immediately attracted attention and was loved by kids the same way as other poetry collections released after this book: “The Amazing Elephant,” “Tell the Clouds,” “Why Don’t Whales Speak,” “Warm Pathway.”
Igor Maznin’s poems—bright and kind—introduce children to the surrounding world full of wonders, the ones you encounter at every step, though you don’t always notice them.
