All of Arkady Raikin’s life and work were tied to the Theatre of Miniatures. In 1939, the actor was accepted into the troupe of the Leningrad Theatre of Variety and Miniatures and soon became its artistic director. In 1982, the theatre moved to Moscow and was renamed the State Theatre of Miniatures. Today, the theatre is called “Satyricon” named after A. I. Raikin, and it is headed by Arkady Isaakovich’s son—Konstantin Raikin.
