After returning from the army, Roman discovers that his beloved Anya has disappeared without a trace. Unable to accept it, he decides to find her himself.

The search leads him to a mysterious sect and then—into the dark underground tunnels of Moscow. With the help of a familiar digger, Roman goes into the labyrinths where creatures hidden from human understanding dwell.

Roman doesn’t plan to retreat. He is ready to go down even into hell just to get Anya back and learn the truth. But the deeper he sinks into the underworld, the clearer it becomes that evil can take many different forms.

And the worst part is that it may hide behind friendly smiles.
