For several years, in one European city after another favored by tourists, dead bodies of beautiful women are found. All the victims are between thirty-five and forty-five years old; all have been strangled, and in each case the killer takes the victim’s handbag. It’s clear that all the murders were committed by the same person with a sick psyche. The police give him the nickname “Tourist.” The criminal is unbelievably cunning and leaves no traces.
But this time, in Venice, he makes a fatal mistake with his “chosen one.” The owner of the gorgeous handbag—whom he still managed to kill, despite a harsh resistance—turns out to be an employee of the special services. A flash drive found by the “Tourist” in a hidden compartment of the handbag—containing photos of a dazzling Eastern beauty—deprives him of peace. He decides to make her his next victim.
