The Price of a Mistake

Sometimes we wake up in the most unexpected places. Alexander Gromov, for example, once came to his senses in a ravine surrounded by corpses. “Not much of a company,” he thought, and hurried away. In the process, he discovered that somehow he had ended up in the body of a teenager—and it turned out the world was completely different as well. Otherworldly creatures and strange abilities, of course, interested Gromov, but above all he wanted to know what his own memory was hiding. The answer did not please him.

But then a goal appeared: to get back—at all costs—to his own world!
