The Price of Immortality

The 27th century: communism has triumphed in one country (other countries were destroyed as a result of the Third World War). In a communist society created with the help of eugenics, a carrier of the virus of immortality appears—a ten-year-old boy named Elveiss, tasked with infecting all residents of the state of New Jerusalem, located in South America. As the story unfolds, new shocking realities are revealed.

For example, the leader of New Jerusalem, whose citizens worship the “Ideal Man,” does not share the state religion but practices one of the well-known ancient Christian heresies. The main character, who is a toy in the hands of this maniac, travels virtually through the past and begins to believe in Christ. His faith takes on the features of self-sacrifice after visiting Golgotha, and the Lord takes Elveiss out of his time.
