Perhaps in one of them you are happy and live the life you’ve always dreamed of—without regrets, with confidence in your own future. Maybe even the sky is a different color there, and the stars form unknown constellations, and only one of them is familiar to you. Mingiou never thought about what his life might be like if he had been born at another time or in another world. He is sure that the end result will always be the same. The universe thinks otherwise when it gives him a chance to touch another reality. On the other side of the mirror, the sky is indeed an unfamiliar color—syringe-purple. But there are no closest friends, and the only one who can help is the neighbor’s child, who in this world is ten years older.
