A Royal Gift

Alexandra Smolina runs an auto service and is used to handling any difficulties herself. Discovering in her apartment the ancient psalter belonging to a murdered neighbor, she can’t resist trying to unravel its secret and find out who the old man hid this book from. Her research takes Sasha back to the past, when the Kostroma nobles decided to present Emperor Paul I with a manuscript book in a magnificent golden binding decorated with precious stones. The only relative of the deceased agrees to help Sasha with the investigation, and soon they become interested not only in the secret of the royal gift, but also in each other.
