The Ardis Studio presents an audio play based on the novella by the Strugatsky brothers “It’s Hard to Be a God” (without abridgments). While fully preserving the author’s text, the production team worked to convey the atmosphere of a medieval world, behind which—unspokenly—employees of the Earth Institute of Experimental History are watching.
Love, betrayal, intrigue, and the difficult choice that must be made…
Perhaps the brothers’ most famous work combines elements of a high-stakes adventure novel in the style of Dumas and, at the same time, touches upon deep socio-philosophical questions in the spirit of Orwell and Umberto Eco.
