Three in Quarantine and Other Troubles

A pandemic swept the world suddenly—no one had time to even realize what was happening. People didn’t believe until the end that it could get so bad. Then, all at once, borders slammed shut, cutting off the chance to leave a foreign country and return home. Exactly that happened to Varvara.

She got stuck in Bologna, Italy, waiting for a charter flight that would take her to Russia. Leaving the hotel was forbidden; the only entertainment was a chat with friends on the internet. But everything changes when Varya witnesses a terrible crime.

Blogger Anastasia managed to return from Milan. She is used to indulging herself—restrictions are not for her. Nastya needs to spend two weeks in quarantine, but she refuses, thereby bringing a lot of trouble on herself.

The actress Kira’s dream came true—she landed a tour in Italy. The troupe managed to leave the country before the borders closed, but at home everyone ends up in isolation. It’s possible the awful illness won’t reach the performers. But the cruel killer hunting them certainly will.
