My name is Sophie, and I am what shouldn’t exist according to all the laws of nature. Some believe that my existence in principle upsets the balance. Others are convinced that I am a miracle. For almost one hundred and forty years, I haven’t been home—and during that time, a lot has happened: my stepsister took the throne, and my father disappeared under strange circumstances. But someone decided that it wasn’t enough and added one more problem here—magic. Now I have to return home and find my father, but first I’ll have to learn to control my newly acquired power so I don’t accidentally go mad.
