The Mistress of the Inn

A radio adaptation of a brilliant comedy by the great Italian writer. “The Mistress of the Inn” is always relevant, but, oddly enough, for the last 40 years this play has almost not been staged. The wonderful innkeeper Mirandolina chooses a husband with careful selectiveness. Around her swirl many charming scoundrels and fops, but she decides to conquer the heart of the only one among them who hates women—the Cavalier di Ripafratta. However, the beautiful woman’s heart itself doesn’t know what it wants. As soon as she makes the cavalier fall in love, Mirandolina marries her own servant.
