The author designated the genre of his works as "treatises," although they can with equal justification be regarded as collections of aphorisms — perhaps reflecting the influence of the Russian philosophers of the early twentieth century whom the author revered, Nikolai Berdyaev and Vasily Rozanov.
The treatise "Signs on the Path" is devoted to an introduction to religious philosophy. It introduces the main philosophical themes and examines various approaches to them, including traditional ones: Western, Eastern, and esoteric. Special attention is paid to the theme of the evolutionary (spiritual) development of the human being and the world.
The treatise "Psychology of the Subconscious" is devoted to the study of the forces acting in the individual psyche. Here the theme of evolution is considered through the material of a person’s inner life and inner development.
And finally, the treatise "Social Subconscious" is devoted to what are now called transpersonal questions, namely, the description of subtle-world structures corresponding to human collectives. The main theme of this treatise is a person’s relationships with the collectives into which they are willingly or unwillingly included in the course of life, in particular with their family, as well as with a firm, a people, and the state.
