The world is paralyzed by eternal frost. Behind multiple layers of glass in sealed Domes — with an icy -120 outside and life-saving warmth inside — the warmth must be paid for with complete obedience. The remaining people are ruled by corporations that once erased the Architects from the face of the earth—idealists who created terraforming Installations to return life to the planet.
