For New Year and Christmas, Oleg Buldakov recorded two themed stories: 1 and 5.
The first one is for those who believe that miracles happen—and that on Christmas they will definitely happen to us.
The second is a mystical-ecological story— a warning. Also, the little collection has been supplemented with New Year stories recorded in 2008–2011. I hope you’ll like them as much as I do. Happy holidays!
01. John MAVERICK — A Small Bit of Magic
The hero of the story receives a terrible diagnosis, and his days are numbered. To avoid spending time in a hospital, he comes to Christmas to a town where he meets a strange boy who helps children.
02. Elena POLONSKAYA — Letters to Father Frost
Schoolchildren write letters to Father Frost, revealing their most cherished wishes.
03. Darya BULATNIKOVA — A Gnome That Fell Off the Christmas Tree
A New Year’s story about a Christmas tree, gifts, a boy, his father, and a gnome.
04. Nadezhda IVOLGA — A Spark
Once upon a time there was a Spark. Almost burned, blackened, unwanted by anyone… And if it weren’t for New Year, no fairy tale would have happened.
05. Sergey SHAMANOV — The Druid
Kirill doesn’t share people’s desire to cut down Christmas trees for New Year. And one day, on the first night of the New Year, he hears a voice— as if someone in the forest was crying from pain…
06. Maksim AKIMOV — Slavka
Miracles happen! And on New Year’s Eve—even more so!
07. Anna KONONOVA — There were… hours left until New Year
But there were only 5 hours left until the New Year began. The gifts were ready, and the list of addresses too… only Father Frost himself wasn’t ready.
