This story happened in those far-off romantic, sad and nostalgic 1970s. Three friends—Kostya, Mitya, and Kolya—were together all the time. They worked as telegram deliverers at the post office and raced around on motorcycles. They drank, fought, got themselves involved in nasty business, ran from the police, and, of course, fell in love. On this day, Mitya Nesterov was lucky: he was tasked with delivering a telegram to a very beautiful green-eyed girl, Marina. She invited him into her room to drink tea.
It turns out they both once lived in the same city. Marina has a new apartment coming soon. She has a large library, which the girl dreams of reading. And everything in her life is wonderful—except one thing: she’s completely blind, and her life goes on in darkness. She has an operation ahead, and there’s a chance her sight will return.
