Four Moscow schoolchildren—Yan, Marina, Polina, and Miron—had no idea that old Moscow has mystical secrets stretching through time and making themselves known already in the 21st century.

Their team’s first investigation, “The Sleuths-Tour Guides,” began with an attempt to understand strange events connected to the richest Old Believer merchant family, the Ryabushins, an ancient ring, and a looming revolution. And it quickly became clear: even in the age of smartphones, you can become a real detective.

You’ll be taken on an exciting historical and local-history investigation, where the past suddenly comes to life, and familiar Moscow streets reveal their dark, mysterious side.

After these events, a group called “The Sleuths-Tour Guides” appeared online, bringing together four classmates—Yan, Marina, Polina, and Miron. The reason was the uncovering of a mystical story in the Ryabushin family. The threads led to a ring that, according to legend, Semyon Ryabushin presented to his sister Eufimiya. And soon the revolution broke out…

So it turned out that old Moscow holds an entire layer of mysteries that take root in our time—right there where, it seemed, everything had long been known and familiar. And schoolkids from the era when the whole world fits in a phone can absolutely become real sleuths if they take up a historical, local-history, and mystical investigation. The first case of the sleuths-tour guides is now open.
