The text, also known as “A Хули,” is a clumsy literary forgery made by an unknown author in the first quarter of the 21st century. Most experts agree that what is interesting is not the manuscript itself, but the method by which it was thrown into the world. A text file titled “A Хули” was supposedly located on the hard drive of a portable computer found “under dramatic circumstances” in one of Moscow’s parks. The staged nature of the action is evidenced by a police report describing the find. As we see it, it provides a fine idea of the virtuoso technologies of modern PR.
