Vladimir Serkin is a Doctor of Psychological Sciences, a professor, and works in the Psychology Department of the NRU HSE (National Research University “Higher School of Economics”). He has published several textbooks on psychosemantics and methodology of psychology, monographs, and more than 150 academic and academic-methodological works. Vladimir Serkin’s first audiobook, “The Shaman’s Laughter,” has already gone through ten reissues in Russian; it has been translated and published in Europe. The book “The Freedom of the Shaman” is an expanded and revised 2012 and 2021 edition of the first book about one of the periods in the life of “a person of the future.” By communicating with groups of people and other beings, the Shaman mastered numerous unusual practices that allow him to influence the surrounding world, see reality differently, and be a member not only of human communities. At the same time, the Shaman is rational and practical: he knows how to achieve a goal and how to interact with others. Many reflections and recommendations strike with both their depth and their immediate, easy-to-apply practicality in modern life.
