Description
Katya and her family are caught in an earthquake in Armenia. In the city of Leninakan, her home—where she lives with three children and her drinking husband—is completely destroyed. Katya flees south to the city of Mikhailovsk. She ends up in a financial trap. Bandits demand Katya pay her husband’s debts, threatening to hurt the children.
