1973. Another military conflict is brewing in the Middle East. Egypt is trying to regain the territories lost in the Six-Day War. During the midst of preparations for an operation, an unknown figure from among the close associates of Egypt’s president Anwar Sadat—recruited by Israeli intelligence—steals secret documents from the general staff. The plan for the upcoming strike against Israel is now at risk of failure. Egypt’s military leadership unofficially approaches Soviet special services with a request to help search for the missing documents.
