Guardians of the Dead Cities

In the Dead Cities, for a decade, the exterminators keep their watch at the exits of other worlds, destroying the creatures that appear with their summoned weapons. Christopher Born, a boy with unusual abilities, grew up and received as his partner a “defective” academy graduate. Her gift with a curse never developed, and whether these two can form a proper Unit is unclear to anyone. Exactly at this moment, non-humans appear again, and the world once more stands on the brink of catastrophe. Continuation of the book “Tales of the Dead Cities,” but it can be read separately.
