Strange House

At first glance, the house seems ordinary, but when you study its layout closely, strange—and even ominous—details come to light. Gradually, growing unease turns into an understanding of a terrible and incredible truth about this place.

In this book, I tell the entire story in chronological order, hiding some details to preserve confidentiality.

In Japan, this book became a bestseller, staying high on the charts for a long time; a manga was drawn based on it and a film was made, and the author even wrote a sequel. The success is partly explained by the author’s provocative image: he hides his face behind a white mask, wears a black raincoat, and runs a strange YouTube channel with a million-strong audience. His appearance and name remain a mystery to readers.

“The Strange House,” like Ukez u’s previous work “Strange Pictures,” belongs to the honkaku mystery genre, presenting a puzzle of mysteries and diagrams. The story revolves around a mysterious house whose plan reveals an extra space where a blind wall should be. This discovery leads to many new riddles and astonishing revelations…
