He was immediately interested and noted several oddities: a nursery without windows, suspicious room placement, and the presence of a secret passage… Kurihara suggested a crazy theory, which was confirmed when a dismembered corpse—missing the left hand—was found near the house.

In this book, I tell the entire story in chronological order, hiding some details to preserve confidentiality.

In Japan, this book became a bestseller, staying high on the charts for a long time; a manga was drawn based on it and a film was made, and the author even wrote a sequel. The success is partly explained by the author’s provocative image: he hides his face behind a white mask, wears a black raincoat, and runs a strange YouTube channel with a million-strong audience. His appearance and name remain a mystery to readers.
