You won’t even notice, and you’re already well past… and you perfectly understand that the chances to arrange your personal life are quickly fading away. And if there’s suddenly a “proper person” ready to take you to the registry office, you should agree.

Liza had been divorced for a long time. A marriage entered out of enormous love fell apart as soon as love ended. Everything in her life had been calm and measured: an adult daughter, a beloved job, meeting with friends, exhibitions and performances. But then Denis appeared—every woman’s dream: faithful, honest, romantic just enough to be considered decent for their age.

And everyone around urges Liza not to miss her chance, to jump into the last carriage.
